A short dress

We've got some pretty wacky kiddos in our home here. Last night we took one of Emily's favorite blankets away to wash it right as she was going to bed. She was distraught, so we slipped it back into bed with her after we'd done the laundry. This morning we were wakened to excited cries of, "Mommy washed it! It's here already! My pink blanket! It's not dirty anymore!" She was explaining (yelling) this to Caleb for at least five minutes. He was happy for her. She is learning so many new words and putting together really complicated sentences lately, for those of us who are able to understand. Which is mostly just me and Joseph.

I've been sorting through a lot of old baby clothes and Emily has fallen in love with some of the 6 to 12 month dresses. She has been wearing this one for two days straight. We had to wrestle it away from her this morning after she spilled (poured) milk on it.
She normally wears pants under that.

I love these pictures that Emily took of me and Caleb. She's definitely improving.

Don't mind the pajamas.

Today Emily was pushing Caleb around in her stroller and it was so cute to see them playing together! She parked him in front of the television to watch High School Musical 3 and pulled up a chair of her own. Sorry about the legs in that last picture. I am no professional photographer. I guess that's where Emily gets her skills, or lack thereof.
