Mom: Emily, do you want to go to the food store or the the toy store?
Emily: Umm... Food store.
Mom: Okay, should we go right now?
Emily: Emily sleep first and then go to the food store. Okay? [proceeds to lie down on her bed snuggled up with her blankets and bear.]
So we waited 20 minutes for Emily to take a power nap and then went grocery shopping for her special Saturday activity. Yay!

Has Emily discovered the joy of being well rested?
How in the world did you get Emily to become a little girl that actually wants to take naps? Haley's going through some phase right now where she HATES bedtime and nap time. She goes all boneless so we can't pick her up and then she proceeds to scream for about 5 minutes before she crashes.
I would love it if she would walk to her crib and let me put her in it where she would then fall asleep without the screaming tantrum first.
