Here is a picture that totally captures the feel of most of our Halloween day. Emily sure knows how to live the good life.
Our ward didn't really have a Halloween party, so our Halloween celebration this year consisted of a trunk or treat in the church parking lot. It was well attended and pretty fun. Emily went as a little Japanese girl, which is kind of what she is, so it might not really be a costume. I made her a little kimono though which was really cute. She loved carrying around her little pumpkin basket and racing Joseph through the parking lot, doing what she could to escape him. Sorry these pictures are so dark. Here Emily is trying to get close enough to pet a dog. She loves them.
Here she's daring Joseph to try to catch her.
This is her sly, conniving face. She is probably cooking up her next Halloween scheme.
And this picture was just cute.
I was boring and didn't put a costume together for myself. I tried looking online for ideas and could only find costumes that would have scandalized the ward.I was just looking at last year's Halloween pictures and am so amazed at how much our girl has changed! She is totally a different baby now.

But we still love her.
Happy Halloween everyone!!

Good job on the costume! She is adorable. Happy Halloween!
Yeah, I really like the costume. We missed our ward's trunk-or-treat in favor of a kind of boring night at a Colonel's house for dinner. The kids played with their cat the whole night and got allergic so I had to make an emergency run to the gas station down the street to buy some $12 Benedryl. Joseph's costume is good too. Jared and I didn't dress up this year at all.
Super cute!
Emily's costume is so beautiful. What a neat talent! Looks like it was a fun evening.
Chris and I reviewed Matthew's old Halloween pictures too. These little ones are growing up so fast!
Wow, that costume looks awesome. Are we going to see you guys for Christmas? I haven't even met Emily yet!!
I LOVE her Halloween Costume. She is a cutie!
