I would be an alcoholic

I don't think it's smart. I don't envy those who drink. I just know I would do it if it weren't for the Church. Do you know how I know?
These little morsels. When things get a little stressful, or I am having trouble coping, I sneak into the kitchen, pull a few chips out, savor the flavor, and I am sane again. This happens several times a day, probably with increasing frequency as the day progresses. And do you know why I need this crutch?
You guessed it. She makes everything more fun, but also adds to the work and definitely tries my patience. The hardest meals to prepare are the ones that she lends a hand in. ("More more mushies*, mama?")
*mushies = mushrooms

how funny! I just said that I would be an alcoholic to Reianna..or someone (I don't remember, I'm pregnant). Typically once I start eating chocolate chips, I go back every five minutes. :D

I love this post! I eat chocolate chips all the time too. Except with three kids I've moved from a few morsels to a few handfulls (I don't have time to savor the flavor so I make up for that with volume). I used to think that I would be an alcoholic too - until I met one and realized that thy barf all the time. I hate barfing too much to drink. I couldn't smoke either. It's too stinky and makes you cough. I hate coughing almost as much as barfing.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. Leif hates it when I buy chocolate chips... because he knows he won't get any cookies out of it. It's just my lifesaver. Our little guy has unfortunately figured it out. He goes and stands by the fridge, looks up at the freezer and says, "Please, please, more, more!" Very cute, and very sad.
