Agent K and Agent M are learning to work together as a team and not just with Renaldo. Em takes her role as big sister very seriously. She tries to get her hands into all aspects of baby care: cuddling (see Figure), diaper changes (she gathers all the supplies and throws them at you and then stands ready to shout "Ewww!" when the diaper comes off), and feeding (no! no! babies don't eat pretzel fish!).
Caleb's significantly more aware now. He's cuddly and confusing since we're accustomed to Emily's very different temperament. His eyes are becoming more blue.
Amanda put together a little girl's dress in sewing class several years ago. It was four buttons short of being done and stayed that way for years. Suddenly Amanda got it in her head that Emily needed to wear it to church. Since the babies took up most of her evening, she decided to do the sewing at four in the morning. Whatever works, I guess. The dress is cute.
Moving to the big girl bed has basically been a painless transition. The main side-effect has been some serious bed-head. It's a pretty small price to pay. She stays in bed all night and takes two to three hour naps without argument. Even with wacky hair, she's pretty cute.
Our family continues to do well. We're happy and healthy.

Sewing at four in the morning is invigorating. No meals to prepare or babies to keep track of... it may be my new most productive time of the day. And I don't even feel tired today unless I'm sitting for too long.
My mother used to get up and do housework in the middle of the night. Of course, she later had that thyroid problem fixed.
bed head must be genetic, because i have some serious bed head sometimes too.
i'm definitely not productive at 4 in the morning though. if i'm awake at all, it's usually a pretty miserable experience.
