The Silly Goats Gruff

Once upon a time, a family of silly kids, the Silly Goats Gruff, went on an adventure.  They could see lush grass and beautiful landscapes, but to enjoy them, they had to cross the great Arapahoe Ridge.

The ridge was ruled by the terrible troll, Caleb.

The young Elly-goat headed across the ridge, "trip-trap", when out popped Caleb, "I'll gobble you up!"

"Oh no!  I'm much too small.  Wait for my sister, she's much bigger than I."  And little Elly goat hurried down the ridge.

Emmy-goat also met the troll while crossing the ridge, "trip-trop".
"I'll gobble you up!" said the troll.
"Not me!" said Emmy, and she began to hurry away.

The troll started to chase her, but was met by daddy-goat and baby-goat.

Daddy-goat chased after the troll and spun him around and around on the merry-go-round at the other side of Arapahoe ridge.

And the silly-kids lived happily ever after.
