What Once was Lost...

I really, really hate moving, but there is always silver lining, right? While packing all of our stuff, Joseph and I were able to find some things we'd been looking for since the last time we moved, 6 MONTHS AGO! The most important was all of our favorite winter stuff, including Joseph's leather jacket, the absence of which caused a lot of trouble (see this post). I never thought to check in the Dasani box. Can you see the excitement in my face upon discovering this treasure trove? We had also been looking for our second cell phone charger - we'd been sharing for six months - and Em's football and doll. Now we can finally start Emily's training and mold her into the pro-football player we know she'll turn out to be.
I love the little unexpected joys in life. Seriously. There's always some little hidden blessing to be found just when you think things are getting too hard.

PS - Emily is crawling now. I'm still trying to figure out if that's a blessing or not.

I guess it wasn't a large step from standing on one's hands to crawling. Good luck with that one.

During one of the times that we moved I packed all my bread pans and a square baking dish in a box that our regular dishes came in. Then I forgot, and for two years I thought that I had lost my bread pans and that I had box of extra plates. Boy was I suprised when company came over and I opened that box to get out some more dishes.
