Numbers

We have been focusing so much on letters and sounds that I have completely neglected numbers. Emily's teacher recently told me that Emily could identify most letters in the alphabet but refused to even try with the numbers. I am working to change that. This was our project for today (up on the wall).
Hopefully having the numbers written out where she can see them will help.

Caleb and Elinor are starting to play together more. Here Elinor pulled all the diapers off the shelf and climbed in.

Older brother obviously should have precedence and own the fun things sister discovers.

Then Elinor noticed how spacious that shelf actually is and climbed in too.

And then I went to the fabric store and bought way too much fabric because I have been looking at sewing blogs and have decided I can do that too. It's dangerous.

I also left my planner behind and PANICKED and called the store and asked them to search all the shopping carts. Then I found it in the car. Woops. But it was a serious situation. Much panicking and many feelings of distress occurred during the 10 minutes I was missing my planner (brain).

Today I am sore because I have been reading a barefoot running book so I went out in my New Balance Trail Minimus and tried running on my toes for three miles. So sore.  Maybe I will take it easy tomorrow.

Oh my gosh, I didn't know you were into that sort of thing. Emily is a smart little cookie I am sure that she will get those numbers figured out real fast. It's so fun to see pictures of the kids. I miss them.

It can be a lot of fun, but stressful trying to teach your kids everything they need to know. Remember to give that brain of yours a rest too, you have excellent well behaved kids and you're doing a great job.

That is so true about fabric! I'm so glad you found your planner. I lost one once and never found it and I'm pretty sure my life hasn't been the same since ;)

Cute photos of the kids as usual. I'm glad the youngest two are starting to play together. Mine are sort of playing, mostly fighting ;(
