The kids have grown into their names and they feel like they fit now. However, as the time draws near and we find ourselves, once again, without a name, I thought we'd present our current considerations for an open discussion on their relative merits and weaknesses. It would be good to know if a specific name is particularly prone to ridicule or if another is especially meaningful for reasons unknown to us.
Our current choices are as follow:
- Elinor Florence
- Haley Marie
- Elizabeth ...
- Melody ...
- Aspen ...
- Nicole ...
- Abigail ...
- Cindy Lou
- Wendy Moira Angela
- Sleeping Beauty
- Belle
- Princess Angelina Contessa Louisa Francesca Banana Fana Bo Besca The

Oh, I think they're all so lovely! Florence is a great, unique name - is it a family name? As long you stay away from Lily, Olivia, Isabelle/bella, you'll be fine. (Seems like every other little girl these days is named one of the above three!) - At least, in our past three wards we've had one of each.
of the choices, i think that i like haley, melody, and aspen the best. i hope your baby comes this week. happy birthday on tuesday, by the way!
I think Abigail and Elizabeth go well with the other names in your family.
I love Haley and Abigail; I think Elinor is a close third if we can call her Ellie without getting it confused with Emily. Elinor is too long for me to say the full name all the time.... I'm too lazy.
I like Elinor Marie. :) Florence sounds a little too old fashioned. Then you can nickname her Ella. So cute! hee hee! Okay I also like Abigail. That ones really cute. Good luck!
I've decided I also like Elizabeth. :D

Runner up is Abigail or Elizabeth. I've always LOVED those names, and two cousins are named those... and I hate to steal names if I can avoid it... except Hy stole another cousins name... so I'm already guilty.
I really like Haley Marie. Good Luck. We're having trouble too.
I like Elinor but at the same time I echo Nancy's comment on the possible shortened "Elinor" to "Ellie" and it being hard to differentiate from "Emily." That being the case, I vote for abigail.
Elinor reminds me of the old first lady of Pres Roosevelt. I'm not old enough to remember her personally, but the name brings her to mind. NOT Aspen. Too many awful ways she could be teased. Kinda like the sound of Moira, but people would have a problem reading that one off a list. Kinda leaning toward Banana Fana fo Besca. Who are the other two with that name? I know. I'm no help.
Happy Birthday! And I like Abigail and Haley the best- I think they would go well with your other kids names. Good luck!
We started thinking the Haley Marie sounds awfully close to "Hail Mary". We're not sure we want to do that. Elinor is still tempting. But does she look like an Elinor? She kind of looks more like a Natalie or a Jessica. A nice thing about Elinor is that we can easily shorten it to Ellie. Or we can shorten it to "L". Then we have "K"leb, "L"inor, and "M"ily. Or we could go with p"N-L-O-P" if we really wanted to get crazy. Of course, when we get another boy, we're thinking of Jo"ə". Abigail seems to win the popular vote, but I'm having a hard time with it myself. We'll get there.
I think she looks like a really cute Ellie. And great granny in Australia is tickled pink about her middle name Florence since it's Elinor's great-great-great grandmother's name.
