We had a rough start to our day today.
I had four errands that absolutely had to be taken care of, so we left the apartment around 7:40 am, 20 minutes later than I had planned. No one got breakfast, it was pouring rain, and traffic was awful. When we got home around 10, I was hurrying to make breakfast while both kids were crying. Emily was cuddled on the couch with her favorite blankets and toys, Caleb was hanging onto my legs making it difficult for me to walk.
Suddenly Emily held up a sign language "I love you" toward me and Caleb and said, "I love you guys!"
Instantly my attitude changed and the whole morning was different. I was able to get breakfast on the table quickly, I was much more patient with Emily and Caleb, and we were actually able to enjoy our time together. I sure love the innocence and spontaneity of my two-year-old girl.

We love you too, though I am in no way going to try and be as cute as Emily. Regardless, way to be!
So cute! You guys are having a rough patch! I hope things turn around. Way to change your attitude
Love to you and Emily and Caleb and Joseph. ♥♥♥♥
what a sweet girl. we are big fans of emily.
I need her to come and cheer me up, since she's so good at it.
Oh how cute! That is so sweet. I love it.
YAY!! That happened to me today too! I was sitting on the stairs EXHAUSTED and trying to get myself up to clean the kitchen and such. All of a sudden Gregory turns around in his chair and says, "I love you back there!" And it made my day so much better. *HUGS*!!!
A few years ago I was having a bad day and Jared came to the couch to give me a hug. Tyler walked in and said, "Mom, Dad, you guys are old."
