Call me a geek, but is that a power supply in the middle of those toy chains in the first picture?
Why yes it is. I pulled out the power-supply guts and wired a 9 volt battery through the switch and then to the fan. The idea was to put some yellow, red, and orange streamers on top and turn it into a play stove. But the fan pulls instead of pushes. I haven't tried changing the direction of current to see if I can reverse it.
