Happy Valentine's Day!

Our family didn't have any big plans for Valentine's day this year, but we did make and decorate these cupcakes! One of them took much more time and effort than the others. See if you can pick it out. This special cupcake featured a guest artist. She worked long and hard for the perfect design.

Then she realized her project was edible and delicious. She had to share.

She actually climbed down from her chair and had been in the living room for a while before we realized the cupcake was also absent from the kitchen. Having a baby on the loose with sticky hands and a goopy cupcake gave me a pretty good scare. She was just trying to give some to her doll though. Then I gave her a baby wipe and she wiped that doll off so she was good as new and gave her a sloppy kiss to make everything all better.

Joseph is really good about helping take care of things around the house like changing Emily, but I do have to remember that he doesn't always have the same standards that I do.
For example, I would probably take the pants back off to snap up the onesie if I realized I had done it in the wrong order. It doesn't seem to bother either of these two though. Right now they are outside getting the mail and showing off Emily's cool look for all the neighbors. I didn't go with them because I would be too embarrassed.

Gotta say, the cupcake dolly kiss is one of my favorite pictures now.

And I like the onesie-leggings look. Seems perfectly reasonable to me. In fact, it took me a while to figure out what you were "embarrassed" about.

I think Dads must all be the same... or maybe just boys. It wouldn't bother Leif or Hyrum... but it would bug me.

It kind of looks like Emily is in a dance outfit with tights...at least youc an tell yourself that to feel less embarassed :)

When I have james dress Joshua I usually lay out clothes for him beforehand if we are going anywhere because James sure does pick out some weird outfits at times!

I'm with Rachel; it looks like a gymnastic dance costume to me. But it did make me laugh for a good 6 minutes because that's so Joseph. Unfortunately, I'd be really tempted to do the same thing just out of laziness.

Now that truly is a fashion statement! I also love the socks with the sandals! She is still adorable though, no matter what her outfit is! Glad to see you are all well!
