It would have been cool to go. I probably could have gotten a travel grant. But with Amanda working every other night, a three-day conference would be tough to pull off. Also, the conference was at the same time that we were house/child-sitting.

The conference was in Amsterdam, but Joseph was not able to attend so his former master's degree adviser went and presented.
