These kiddos are growing fast. I wish I had a high quality, super cute, up-to-date picture of each one to post tonight, but that is just not the type of mom I am right now. I am more the barely-keeping-her-head-above-water type of mom these days. Nothing drastic has happened. It's just me.
Anyway, the latest on Miss Emily is that she lost her first tooth! It happened at school while she was eating lunch. She was very excited about the whole thing. I was very surprised. She does look different with a space in her smile.
Caleb recently gave his very first talk in primary and did a stellar job. He spoke very clearly and loudly in that low, gravelly voice of his, and made this momma proud.
Elinor potty-trained in December, which was as early as I would allow it. She was trying to do it when Jacob was first born, but I wasn't ready. Cloth diapers sure make a difference in the whole process! It was a piece of cake this time around.
Jacob. He's a big guy, weighing in at just about 22 lbs, and still off the charts for height. He's got two teeth on the bottom and rolls around everywhere. He'll be a good match for Caleb when he's older.
Joseph is hard at work applying and interviewing for jobs, finishing up the ol' dissertation, publishing, TAing, leading singing time every Sunday, and keeping his wife and family happy. He's a busy guy.
And me? well, I'm just trying to hold it all together. Not much sewing or reading or running lately, which makes me sad. But, we got eggplant in our basket on Saturday and enjoyed a delicious ratatouille this evening. I was skeptical but it was awesome! Next time I'll try to make it look like it does in the movie so the kids will eat it too.

I read this and thought, me and Amanda are in the same boat. The fourth child is a doozy. ;) I, too, am grateful for a good husband. Thanks for posting at least.
